Hi, I'm Mark
EDUCATION
After graduating high school in 1984, I pursued college studies in Art and Broadcasting. However, my career path shifted after getting married in 1995, leading me into the construction industry. I gained experience as a wood framer, steel stud framer, and even co-founded a plumbing business with a friend for two years.
As a multi-skilled tradesman, I ran my own construction business for about 14 years before joining a statewide commercial builder where my current role is Field Construction Manager and Superintendent. My skills include drywall hanging and finishing, tile work, painting, cabinetry, carpentry, fencing, and concrete work.
A THRIVING CAREER
I started my career in Hollywood as a Grip, where I was involved in building and creating backdrops for various TV shows and movies. My work included projects like the TV shows "Coach" and "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," and films such as "Volcano," "Alien 2," and "Mrs. Santa Clause." Over the years, I transitioned into large-scale construction management, focusing on essential community infrastructure.
Today, I manage the construction of hospitals, schools, libraries, and fire stations, ensuring these projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety. I’m not a builder of homes, and I believe strongly in holding developers accountable for responsible actions within our town limits. My educational background and experience allow me to effectively lead teams, and I always prioritize treating my team like family because a team is only as strong as its members.
